I have always been impressed with the way Bob Gorski (a co-worker/friend) has the talent to impersonate various other people/co-workers. In fact, on a trip to Staten Island not too long ago, I felt like I attended a full business meeting with only the two of us in the car.
This video clip raises the bar for Mr. Gorski.

What an amazing Christmas this has been! I would like to give my family honorable mention for putting up with my constant barrage of pictures, (mostly all requiring the flash) this holiday season. You all have been incredibly kind.

If your having any trouble playing video with Windows Media Player, I recommend you try the latest version of VLC Media Player instead. I’ve been trying it out on both my Windows and Linux pc’s and it works great! Having a smaller “footprint” as compared to Windows Media Player makes all the difference in the world for an underpowered pc.
At between 7 and 9 MB in size, depending on the OS you are downloading it on, the player isn’t a huge download. I recommend it because it’s easy to use and the playback quality is great. A pet peave I have with Windows Media Player is the keyboard shortcut to pause playback is CTRL+P but with VLC it’s simply SPACEBAR! Try it out.
It creeps up on you like an illness. It starts small, like a tickle in the back of your throat, then all hell breaks loose. Comment Spammers have once again targeted “Hiddenpcmaster’s Headquarters.”

My AOL Instant messenger screen name has been “Hiddenpcmaster” since, um well forever! As a matter of fact I registered that screen name so long ago that the email account I registered that with has long been expired for many years and I never paid any attention to the password I used thinking I can always just have them send it to me. OOps! do you see where I’m heading with this?
What started this was the fact that I had to format Linda’s pc last month due to a nasty virus. and of course my password which was stored in aol im was wiped away. (I had the auto logon feature checked.) but!
My work laptop still used the hiddenpcmaster screen name!
This is what I did to retrieve the password.
I entered my work laptop registry:
Start –> Run –> “regedit” –> Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\America Online\AOL Instant Messenger ™\Currentversion\YOUR_AIM_USERNAME_HERE\Login\P assword1
I copied the “Password1″ encrypted password from the laptop and entered it into Linda’s computer’s registry!
It looked something like this : Lmb36K1l7bBjK28/9q8b/y5m3+CtZe5wYyttP/avJ/5=
I still don’t know what my password is but at least I have it encrypted on linda’s computer again.
I hope this helps someone.
If you ever copy and move a large batch of files, or a group of many files at once from one location to another location, you will be prompted with a “Confirm File Replace” window if there is another file with the same name already exists in the target destination folder. “Confirm File Replace” will have 4 buttons or options for you to choose by default, that’s “Yes”, “Yes to All”, “No” and “Cancel”. There is no “No to All” button on the “Confirm File Replace” pop-up dialog. So if there is not so few or hundreds of existed duplicate files, it will prompt and keep repeating to tell you that this folder already contains a file name “xxx”, and ask you would you like to replace the existing file with this one for not so few times or hundreds of times. If you simply want to replace the existing files, “Yes to All” is simple button to click, but if you decided that you want to keep the existing files, you no need to click on “No” button for that many times.
You will see this warning message dialog whenever there is a file with the same name already existed in the target destination folder. If you have many conflict or identical file names, and want to overwrite and replace the existing one, “Yes to All” will do its job, and once click, won’t prompt you for overwrite confirmation anymore.
If you decide not to overwrite any files with the same name, press and hold on the “Shift” key, and then click on “No” button. This key and mouse sequence will simulate as “No to All”, mean no identical named files will be replaced or overwrote. Instead, Windows Explorer will skip any conflict automatically.
The tip will work when you copy and move files within Windows Explorer, or My Computer or any Explorer window in the Windows Operating System environment.
